Sales Account Engagement Manager (m/w/d)
The Microsoft Digital Stores have become one of the largest worldwide etailers of Microsoft products. In our quest to drive growth and deliver best customer experience, we are seeking a Senior Sales Account Engagement Manager to work with our field sales and marketing teams to drive increased adoption and usage of the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program with end users. This will require the development of subject matter expertise in the program, as well as the ability to develop relationships and build trust over time. The right candidate will have the ability to be comfortable and confident while presenting to senior leadership at one moment, and then the innate desire to dive deep into the details to own execution and results the next. The Sales Account Engagement Manager is responsible to drive execution across the following areas: Managing prospect lists based on opportunity data. Engaging with internal client teams to gain an understanding of client programmes and build trust and support for outreach. Working closely with external clients to explain programme offerings and provide implementation support. Engaging with Customer Support to help resolve technical issues and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Capturing data to develop the best retention and customer care measures. Acting as a subject-matter expert / single point of contact across internal account teams and external customers. Participating in internal client forums to raise awareness and provide programme updates. Providing weekly insights and reports on the engagement process via email, calls and internal tools. Preparing Go-to-Market (GTM) sales forecasts on a quarterly and fiscal basis.
7+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management required Large Enterprise account experience required. Need to be familiar with working through the complexities of large organizations. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional training in marketing, or related business experience. Strong written and verbal communications skills in German and English. Intermediate Excel skills required (pivot tables, vlookups) Proficient in MS Office. Strong presentation skills to enterprise-level customers and sales teams. Previous Microsoft experience in a consulting role or employee preferred but not required.
