Data and DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Remote Option
Data Engineering (SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory and Synapse with Spark) as well as build data systems and pipelines
Prepare data for analytics and REST services, combine raw data from different sources, explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Collaborate with data scientists, analyze and organize data
Continuous development and quality assurance of new and existing software solutions, based on Java Springboot, deployed as software containers on Kubernetes
Consulting of the different business units as well as hands-on support of operational tasks
Administration and ongoing automation of numerous operational processes based on DevOps technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins and relevant cloud services
Member of the agile product team
University degree in (business) informatics or alternative training with relevant professional experience in this field
Good knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Azure Data Factory, Power Query, Data Flow)
Extensive professional experience in IT, especially in the field of software development including secure development and solution architectures
Excellent consulting skills and solid knowledge of handling CI/CD technologies such as e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps as well as in cloud infrastructures and services ideally based on Azure
Experienced in agile working environments as well as the ability and will to make decisions and take responsibility
Fluent spoken and written English, German beneficial
Able to learn new skills as needed and apply them to working methods coupled with T-Shaped Personality
Strong hands-on attitude combined with good analytical skills
